Happy New Year

Wow....2007 is over at midnight tonight!!! Where did the year go?! I can't believe how fast the years just fly by anymore.

I wish you all a very Happy New Year! Be safe if you go out tonight.

I'm going back to getting my weight down. I have been disgusted with myself for gaining all my weight back to where I was at this time last year. I'm more determined now than ever to get in shape and stay that way!!

Hey..I'm still here............

My home computer is on the fritz and I'm not supposed to be on this web page during working hours so I havn't been posting. We are really slow today at work so I thought I'd pop in here and type a little. I'm actually surprised that it's been this long since I've been in here.

Bob & I had a wonderful Christmas. We stayed home and had our 1st Christmas morning together alone since we've been dating. We went back to Ohio for Thanksgiving and spend a few days with my Mother and Daughter and the Grandkids. My Son was on leave from the Army and was able to be there as well. That was his 1st trip back to Ohio since moving to Florida 2 years ago. It was a very nice visit.

My Son is now graduated from all of his training and is now an Army Medic. He is stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado. He hates the snow and cold, but is doing fine. Most of that unit was scheduled for deployment to Iraq, but he didn't have to go with them. He says the base has a skeleton crew now. He's working on a med-e-vac unit currently. (I'm not sure that's how it's spelled or pronounced, but he's working on making sure the abulances and trucks used are stocked and running correctly. He does not have to do the mechanics though.

My Daughter is still a full time single Mom and working full time as a hair dresser. She will be attending classes starting in January at the local college branch of Kent State University. She'll be taking classes for respitory therapist.

My job is going fantastic and I love it. I'm so glad to finally have a job that makes me feel fullfilled at the end of the day. I never have a feeling of dreading the alarm to get up for work. I'm always early and ready to go when I get here. I'm sure Bob just hates hearing about my day when I get home and feel compelled to bend his ears about it. He listens though.

I'll try to get here more often to post. Hopefully soon, we'll get our home computer working so I don't have to sneak here at work to use this one.
