Flasher caught when school bus riders get his license plate

PERRY TWP. - He wanted attention. And he got it.

Perhaps too much for his own sake.

Richard T. Geiger, 43, is accused of dropping his pants and masturbating while driving alongside a school bus full of young girls on their way to a basketball game, police say.

The girls were ages 11 to 14.

Geiger of 820 Federal Ave. NE in Massillon was arrested Thursday on charges of public indecency and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, a felony. The incident occurred at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Police Chief Tim Escola said Geiger stopped next to the bus at a traffic light on Perry Drive NW, caught the passengers’ attention, pulled his pants down and masturbated.

All 16 girls and three adults saw him.

Apparently, the driver forgot that he could be tracked down by his license plates. And the girls jotted down the plate numbers, Escola said.

Geiger has offered no explanation, Escola said. “He just said he knows he did wrong.”

The girls are members of the Perry Local junior high girls basketball team, Escola said. They were headed to a game.

This is the stuff I just don't get. How does someone become perverted like that??? There are some really sick people in our society these day.....just angers me!!
